Whispers of Warmth
This living room unfolds beautifully when you take in both sides each angle revealing a thoughtful balance of warmth, personality, and smart design.
Orange takes centre stage here, not as an overpowering theme but as a joyful colour pop, chosen especially because Abir, the family’s little one, is fond of it. That emotional layer makes the space feel lived-in and personal rather than styled for the sake of trend. The rust-toned sofa and accents sit effortlessly with the orange, creating a warm, cohesive palette that feels inviting and grounded.
Living Room
Anchoring the room is the audacious grey textured feature wall, bold and unapologetic. It adds depth and drama, instantly elevating the living area and giving it a contemporary edge. This contrast between warm hues and the strong grey backdrop is what makes the room feel distinctive and confident.
The space is enriched with layers of texture from fluted glass and patterned wallpaper to curated artwork and detailed finishes ensuring visual interest without clutter. A special highlight is the Lippan art by Pallavi, a beautiful example of homeowners engaging with their own art. It adds soul to the space and makes the home feel deeply personal.
The bis-white cabinet smartly serves multiple purposes: generous storage, a soft visual partition, and a dedicated spot to display the family’s original cuckoo clock, which becomes a charming focal point rather than a hidden keepsake.
Functionality is quietly woven in. The centre table with pull-out stools is a clever addition, offering extra seating or footrests when needed perfect for gatherings, family time, or relaxed evenings.
Overall, this living room is a thoughtful blend of emotion-led design, bold choices, and practical planning a space that feels warm, expressive, and unmistakably personal
Dining
This dining nook is elevated with a statement wallpaper featuring subtle golden accents, adding warmth and elegance. A foldable dining table with comfy chairs keeps the space flexible, while the bench seating maximises space without feeling crowded.
Entryway
The entryway echoes the same grey textured pattern as the living room, creating a seamless visual flow. The grey and brown safety door combination highlights the entrance while adding a warm, welcoming feel right from the first step inside.
Carrying the orange theme into the bedroom, the idea was to add a burst of energy while balancing it with white lamp that reflects beautifully on the walls. The wardrobes feature a subtle papyrus print, helping the room feel spacious, light, and inviting.
Designed for everyday functionality, the wardrobe includes dedicated cabinets for daily wear, making storage effortless. A well-planned dresser and a compact work-from home study reminder ensure the space is as practical as it is stylish. Repeating hints of the same orange throughout ties the room together, giving the bedroom an eclectic yet thoughtfully curated look.
This bedroom embraces a green palette that is subtle yet evocative almost like a quiet forest in winter. Unlike any other space in the house, this room was designed to stand apart while still feeling deeply connected to nature.
The wallpaper, with its delicate vines and pretty florals, sets a soft, organic tone, complemented by an elegant ceiling highlight that adds depth and character. The wardrobes feature clean laminates enhanced with silver inlays, creating a gentle play of pattern and shine without overwhelming the space. The result is a cohesive bedroom that effortlessly brings the outdoors indoors—calm, refreshing, and thoughtfully layered.
Abir’s room
The kids’ bedroom is the simplest in design yet the most functional. From a thoughtfully planned study desk with integrated storage cabinets to a wardrobe detailed with strong black inlays, every element is designed to grow with the child.
This room is where the orange story begins, adding just the right pop of energy and personality. We customised the wall poster with Abir’s name perfect for an aspiring cricketer and a little champ in the making.
The bedding, upholstered headboard, and blinds come together to create a space that feels boyish yet timeless, ensuring the room transitions beautifully as he grows. A room that has it all style, function.
Kitchen
The kitchen is designed in a subtle beige palette perfect for its size, keeping the space light, calm, and airy while still accommodating ample storage. Every inch is planned thoughtfully to ensure functionality without visual heaviness.
A special highlight here is the devghar, designed as a serene yet practical corner. It includes a stool to sit comfortably during daily pooja, a pull-out tray for additional display, and well-planned space for idols and essentials. A delicate chandelier adds a divine touch, elevating the spiritual experience.
Smart drawer systems and organised storage solutions ensure the kitchen remains fully functional, clutter-free, and easy to use where utility meets quiet elegance.
Lastly, we focused on one of the most vital extensions of the home the terrace adjoining the living room. Designed as a seamless continuation of the indoors, this space adds both character and breathing room to the house.
With textured paint on the walls, a laser-cut frame as a statement feature, and carefully placed focus lights, the terrace comes alive warm, inviting, and effortlessly charming. It’s a space meant to be enjoyed, day or night.
