As much as residential projects are fun and creative, so are corporate ones! When it comes to creating a productive and inspiring work environment, without compromising sleek, high-end decor, we do it all!

So while the opportunity came by from BMC Software, Pune, we were delighted to make it happen and gathered our skills! First and foremost, when considering interior design for any business type, there are a few points that should be taken into account. They include functionality, brand identity, creativity and uniqueness, budget and schedule. After a few discussions with the BMC Software team, we understood their requirement. Small lead time to complete the project was the top priority. We had only 25 days to complete a 3000 sq ft of space with an addition of 56 workstations. So here is how we went through the project step by step…

Replicating Workstations

BMC believes in open seating. Their workstations were linear and they wanted us to replicate the design which was 5 years old. The interior market being so fast paced, doesn’t allow us to replicate something so old since trends change very fast. Despite the situation, we researched and tried and tested a bit and through experience, we could achieve the exact same design for them. Obviously, the shared space was divided through the use of partitions, giving everyone a bit of privacy and a chance to concentrate on the task at hand. At the same time, it’s very easy to peek over the separator in order to discuss something with a desk-mate.

Small Lead Time

Matching timeline in our profession is always a challenge. Despite the fact that the office was in working conditions, we managed to deliver the entire site 5 days prior to our promised date. Our team worked through the night and over weekends.
