Ethnic home – blingy, bright & bold

Nothing shouts diversity louder than India. The country with its diversity and vibrant colour just invoke an amazing blissful feeling in us. We all know how colourful and spicy the Indian traditions are. So when it comes to interior decors, this is what we implemented in this beautiful home of the Iyers!

There are a lot of ways to decorate homes and a home being a reflection of oneself is the best! This home is decorated with the the collection of beautiful pieces of art and vintage furniture by the Iyers!

Curating an impeccably composed wall with the most intricate art forms from India reflects the opulent culture and heritage of the country! Since the Iyers are ardent collectors of such various forms of art, what fun it was to design a perfect gallery which fits in so well in the living space!

Nothing adds personality and color quite like a gallery wall. We displayed a collection of handmade Indian artwork and added an array of ornate variations of green TV unit and a vintage trunk and a grandfather clock to mix things up!

Pairing a recreated vintage shoe cabinet adorned with antiques crass objects is a true charm to the space! the best part about the brass is that it goes well with all colours so deep distressed green is what we chose for this cabinet! its dressed up with antique knobs and decoratives which adds gravitas to the light-hearted greens!

Whenever we have a vision for a design, we become very impatient to see it complete! An entrance wall of this beautiful space came together with Madhubani Wall art!

Ethnic elements can fit beautifully into any decor. From layering a new decor with old world furniture with pieces of history like these bronze miniatures urns and pots to modern den. This dining are is certainly punctuated with such ethnic accents which makes it vibrant and give it style.

Moving from an ethnic theme, Agneya wanted a little modern touch to his bedroom. We decided to give his space an industrial look! Such a decor exude calm and cool.

The blue and greys with splashes of red show an industrial genre coupled with soft and playful finishes in this kids space…And of course the quirk effect!

Wall paper is also one of the best way to personalize your bedroom, whether you are going for loud graphic patterns or soft subtle florals. When we designed this room, we worked with soothing blues, travel graphic wall paper with a complimenting brown teak wood furniture!
